At MJM+A, we are fully aware of how lucky we are to live and work in New York City. Forget about all the lifestyle benefits we enjoy everyday in what many consider the center of the civilized world. We’re in awe when we look at our home city from an architectural standpoint… what could very well be the most diverse and accomplished collection of structures on earth. All in an area that is less than 310 square miles. This article is a primer of what you can see in the big apple… siloed by the traditional architecture styles that we learned in school. Have fun!

Few places are as comfortable with architectural variety as New York, a city that has always reinvented itself, but never thrown away its past. As a result, it boasts one of the liveliest mixes of structures in the world, many of which are marquee examples of their eras.
